All accounts can now create folders with sub-folders. This will help you organize and structure your email campaigns. Admins can restrict access to any folder for specific users.
A round of quality-of-life improvements for the template editor and the export flow.
The template editor now has a one-click code formatting button that cleans up your HTML and Liquid code — fixing indentation, line breaks, and spacing in an instant. You can also trigger it with Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows).
Need to clean up your workspace? You can now select multiple emails from the overview and delete them all at once, instead of removing them one by one.
There's a new integration setting that automatically minifies the exported HTML. Minification strips unnecessary whitespace, comments, and formatting from the output, reducing file size and helping emails load faster in your subscribers' inboxes.
We've expanded custom feed support with better handling of additional XML formats and feed types. If you use data feeds to populate dynamic content in your emails, you should see fewer parsing issues and broader compatibility.

We've shipped a series of improvements to our Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration, making it easier to manage your emails across Content Builder.
When exporting emails to SFMC, you can now choose which Content Builder folder or category to place them in. No more manually reorganizing assets after every export — just pick the right destination and your email lands exactly where it belongs.
A new integration setting lets you automatically generate a plain-text version of your email from the HTML when exporting to SFMC. This saves you from having to maintain a separate plain-text version manually, while making sure every campaign has a proper text fallback.
You can now set default values on custom link tracking attributes in the rich text editor. If your organization uses the same tracking parameters across most links, this saves time and reduces errors.

You can now copy big chunks of text and Better Email will clean the formatting so no surprises will happen. It is now even faster copy pasting from a word document without ever worrying about also copying the formatting.
It is now possible to download your email as a PDF or an image, making it easy to share.
A trash can icon will join your folders on the dashboard. Deleted emails will appear in this folder, where you will have the option to restore them.
Directly on the dashboard you are able to delete your email, where as before you had to go to Settings and then choose "Delete".

You can now create your own calendar invitation directly inside a button. That is quite amazing, because normally you will have to get the user to click on the preferred calendar program. With this new function, all calendars are supported, and it is super easy to create.
From today onwards, we've changed our name from Alpaco to Better Email.
The name Alpaco has served us well, but we believe that Better Email more accurately expresses our mission - to help you create better emails!
We would also like to assure you that everything you have come to know and appreciate about Alpaco remains the same, just under a new name and domain: better.email.
There will be no disruptions in services or operations.
In the future, the name Alpaco will no longer be associated with us and the platform you use.
