This week Betty can build a Campaign from a Trello card, you can attach images and GIFs up to 50 MB in Betty chat, and the module picker shows a picture of every Module.

Ask Betty for a Campaign from Trello​

Admins can connect Trello boards in Settings → Betty AI → Connectors → Trello. You authorize with your own Trello account, and connecting a board adds Betty to it as a member, so the board must allow members to invite others. Trello is available to every Organization that has Betty. If you don't see it under Connectors, contact us.

Mention Betty in a card comment, or add her to the card. She reads the card's description, comments and attached images, builds the Campaign in Better Email and replies on the card with a link to it. Her reply lists anything to fix before the Campaign goes out, such as placeholder images, copy she wrote herself or links she couldn't check. To ask for changes, mention her again on the same card.

Anyone who can comment on a connected board can ask Betty for a Campaign, without a Better Email account. The Trello guide covers setup.

Attach images and GIFs up to 50 MB​

Betty used to refuse images over 5 MB, which ruled out most animated GIFs. You can now attach PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP files up to 50 MB. When Betty places a GIF in a Campaign, she uses your original file with every frame intact.

While she works, Betty sees a still image of the file plus its size and frame count, not the animation itself. SVG files still have a 5 MB limit, and images over 8,000 pixels wide or tall can be refused.

See each Module in the module picker​

Modules without a thumbnail of their own now get one in the Campaign Editor's module picker. The picture shows the Module with its default content inside its Template Base, so it uses your fonts and widths. Tall Modules show their top part as a square.

A thumbnail you set on the Module in the Design System still takes priority. Set one for Modules whose default content shows nothing, such as an empty repeatable list, because those show a gray box. Thumbnails are made for each Design System version, so the first time anyone opens the picker after a new version, they can take a moment to appear.

Improvements​

• The External Reviewer page now shows the preview sender name and BIMI logo set on the Campaign's Destination, as the Campaign Editor does. Before, it showed your Organization name and no logo.
• On the External Reviewer page, switch Variants with Preview as. The Variant selector on each Module has been removed, and opening a comment left on a Variant still switches to it. On long emails, comments and Activity stay in view while you scroll.
• When a visual Pre-flight finding is about text inside an image, the preview now marks that image instead of the corner of the Block.
• Attachments in sent Betty messages show as same-size tiles, with the full file name on hover. Your first message in a new chat appears as soon as you press send.
• Betty's replies are shorter. She answers first and lists only what you still need to act on.
• In the new Betty chat, Betty knows which Campaign you mean on the Overview, Feedback and Review tabs, not only on Edit. You can also ask her to remember a preference from any chat, and she saves it to your Betty Context in Settings → Profile.

Fixes​

• Comment pins on the header or footer now land where you click after you resize the window, on the Feedback tab and the External Reviewer page.
• Pre-flight no longer lists the same visual finding twice.
• Files you attached to one Betty message no longer come back in the next new chat.

This week admins can set up Campaign types so new Campaigns start with the right settings. Better Email also syncs to Bloomreach Engagement, and editors can send and schedule Braze Campaigns without opening Braze.

Start new Campaigns from a Campaign type​

A Campaign type is a kind of Campaign your team sends again and again, such as a brand, a newsletter or a business unit. An admin sets it up once in Settings → Campaign types with its Design System, Destination, Folder, language, approvers and naming scheme. To create a Campaign, pick the type and add a topic, and the type fills in the rest. People still need access to the type's Design System, Destination and Folder.

A type can start new Campaigns as a copy of an existing Campaign and limit who can create from it. If Legal is a required approver on a type, only an admin can remove them, make them optional or turn them off. A type can also override Pre-flight checks and give Betty instructions, and Design System Liquid can read it as context.campaignType.name. Editing a type later doesn't change Campaigns already created from it.

Campaign types are switched on per Organization. If you don't see the settings page, contact us.

Sync to Bloomreach Engagement​

Teams on Bloomreach can now sync Campaigns from Better Email. The first sync creates a draft email campaign, and later syncs keep it up to date until someone starts it in Bloomreach. Audience and schedule set in Bloomreach stay as they are. Better Email can read your customer properties into recipient fields, and Variants export as Bloomreach conditions. Turn on Sync performance data to get delivery, open and click numbers back. The connection runs through Loomi Connect, which Bloomreach offers in early access. It ends every 30 days, so reconnect the integration when asked.

Send and schedule through Braze​

Editors can now send or schedule a Campaign through Braze from the Sync dialog. To set it up, give your Braze API key messages.send and the three messages.schedule permissions and turn on Send and schedule from Better Email on the integration. Then add at least one Braze segment and a From email to each Destination.

When you sync, pick a segment, then send now or choose a time. To change a scheduled send, sync again and choose Keep the schedule for new content or Reschedule for a new time. Unschedule on the Review tab cancels the send.

To see results on the Performance tab, turn on Sync performance data and add an API campaign ID and message variation ID to the Destination. Braze campaigns built from a template synced from now on are counted too, but Canvases aren't yet.

Improvements​

• Admins can add AI translation instructions in Settings → Translations, for all languages and for each language separately, for example to use formal "Sie" in German or avoid a word in French.
• Modules can now show different content to different recipients with {% recipient_if %}, for example a members-only offer. Pick a Preview Profile to see each version, and export writes the condition in your provider's code. Export stops if your provider is missing a field or Segment the condition uses.
• The Review tab stays on the revision you opened. If a colleague creates a newer one, a banner offers to switch, and Sync waits until you're looking at the revision it will send.
• New Campaigns start with the Design System's Global defaults, so a header menu or other repeated item is already filled in.

Fixes​

• Rich text fields opened by clicking text in the preview no longer load empty, and typing in them no longer replaces your saved text.
• Approving a Campaign when you weren't on the approver list no longer drops your approval.
• When your sign-in refreshes in the background and fails, the app no longer switches to a "Something went wrong" screen.
• External Reviewers can open Campaigns with Variants again, and can place comment pins in Safari.

This week helps campaign teams finish reviews faster, jump from preview to the right editor control, check mobile layouts, and recover more clearly when Betty gets stuck.

Get Campaign approvals finished in one place​

Reviewers now open approval requests on a review-only Campaign page. They can see the Campaign, add comments, approve or request changes, switch between desktop and mobile previews, check light and dark modes, and use Preview Profiles from one place.

Reviewers can request changes without leaving the review page. Add an open comment, choose Request changes, and Better Email saves the decision against the Campaign version they reviewed. When the team creates a new version, the reviewer can review again from a clean state.

Admins can also copy a private review link for a named external reviewer from the Approvals pane. The link is for reviewing that Campaign, not for editing access. Better Email tracks the external review alongside the rest of the approval group, so the team can see what is still blocking export.

Show your logo in review emails​

Admins can add an Organization logo in Settings. When a logo is configured, Better Email uses it in review and notification emails so reviewers recognize the team asking for approval. The email still identifies Better Email as the sender.

The Approvals pane now puts your review status first, combines required and optional approvers in one list, and keeps recent activity below the main decision controls.

Work faster in the Campaign Editor​

Click text, images, buttons, or footer content in the Campaign preview to open the matching sidebar input. It also works for repeated content and shared template settings, which cuts down on hunting through long panels when you need to edit one visible part of the Campaign.

Mobile previews are now resizable across the Campaign Editor, review pages, and Design System previews. Drag the frame edge, choose a saved mobile width from the width control, or reset to the default size. Better Email remembers your choice, so teams can check narrow and wider mobile layouts without leaving the preview.

Improvements​

• Reviewers who inspect code can now search the read-only code view with Cmd+F or Ctrl+F.
• Betty can use more attached source material, including .eml files, supported PDFs, and SVG markup.
• Betty can take website screenshots again when you ask from chat or a connected AI client.

Fixes​

• Betty now gives clearer recovery options when a message or thread fails to load, instead of leaving the chat stuck.
• Rich text rules are now consistent across editing, pasted content, Betty edits, defaults, and export checks. Unsupported formatting is caught earlier and reported the same way across the Campaign workflow.

This week adds HubSpot sync, keeps large contact-field lists out of the Campaign builder, and fixes places where Better Email could block work that was ready to send.

Send Campaigns into HubSpot drafts​

Teams using HubSpot can now sync Better Email Campaigns into HubSpot as editable draft marketing emails. Admins create a HubSpot Integration in Better Email, connect their HubSpot account, and choose the Destination settings that should apply to each draft.

Each HubSpot Destination can set the subscription type, business unit, email folder, from name, and reply-to address for new drafts. Better Email fills the draft with the Campaign's subject line, preview text, language, and sender settings, then updates the same HubSpot draft on later syncs while it remains editable.

If a HubSpot email has already been scheduled or sent, Better Email stops before changing the template behind it. HubSpot contact properties can also sync into Better Email as Recipient Fields, so teams can use them in Campaign content and targeting. Hidden or unsupported properties are skipped, and dropdown options stay in sync with HubSpot's choices.

Keep large field lists under control​

New HubSpot contact properties now sync into Better Email as inactive Recipient Fields. HubSpot can return hundreds of standard contact properties, but a Campaign team usually needs only a small set in the editor.

Admins can activate fields in bulk and decide which ones Campaign builders can insert. Existing fields keep their current settings on future syncs, so a provider update will not suddenly make a large hidden field list available in Campaigns.

Improvements​

• Teams can now connect HubSpot, Mailchimp, and Salesforce directly when adding a new Integration.
• After a sync, admins can see how many new Recipient Fields need review before Campaign builders can use them.
• Betty Design System previews now use the selected Destination's settings, so Destination-specific content renders the same way it does from the editor picker.

Fixes​

• HTML size checks now measure the smaller HTML that Better Email sends to your provider, so ready-to-export Campaigns are no longer warned or blocked because the editable draft is larger.
• Sign-in and session refreshes no longer get stuck after an interrupted login attempt.
• Betty now keeps the same conversation after reading connected sources, and no longer marks a reply as finished while it is still being prepared.
• Approvals from team members who have left now stay visible on the versions they approved.

This week adds dark mode previews and checks, clearer Destination settings, and safer provider workflows for teams that export to more than one place.

Check dark mode before a send​

The preview now includes Light, Dark, Forced dark partial, and Forced dark full colour schemes. Teams can quickly compare how a Campaign looks in email clients that use your dark mode styles and in clients such as Gmail or Outlook that change colors automatically.

Review checks now flag common dark mode issues, including missing dark mode settings, weak overrides, missing Outlook support, and pure white or black colours that some email clients may change. Betty and the screenshot tools use the same colour modes, so teams can catch dark mode issues before they reuse a Design System across more Campaigns.

Export to the right Destination​

Admins can now add Destinations inside an Integration for each place they export to, such as a business unit, audience, folder, sender, or segment. Campaigns show the selected Destination, Design System previews can use Destination settings, and Exports use the right settings and access for that Destination.

Mailchimp Exports now update the same template when you re-export, instead of creating duplicates. Teams can also let Better Email create or update a draft Mailchimp campaign, with the subject line, preview text, audience, segment, and sender filled from the selected Destination. After a send, Mailchimp performance data can sync back into the Performance tab when the Integration is connected for reporting.

Dynamics Journeys setup now supports contact, lead, and customer profile audiences. Admins can also save sender, compliance profile, purpose, and topic presets so exported Journeys emails include the required send settings in Dynamics.

Improvements​

• Large HTML files and supported Office documents can now be attached to Betty conversations without stopping the conversation.
• Agillic sync now shows the Campaign name that Agillic accepts when the original name contains unsupported characters.
• Dynamics condition placeholders now use readable names, so the Journeys preview identifies branches such as guest tier or repeat guest instead of internal codes.
• When you clone a Campaign into another Integration, Better Email now removes segment-specific variants that do not apply there and shows which blocks changed.

Fixes​

• When a Design System change requires a new revision before Export, Better Email now says so and shows the Create revision button.
• Alt text findings now point to the image that needs attention instead of matching words in the subject line or body copy.
• Betty now gives a short reply when no visible Campaign change is needed and no longer freezes the chat panel when you reload during a long response.
• Language labels now read consistently across settings, Campaign rows, and Betty, and Betty only creates language versions your team has configured.

This week lets teams build with their preferred AI client, send Agillic Campaigns from the review flow, and work more reliably with Betty and the Campaign Editor.

Connect Better Email to your AI client​

You can now connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, or another MCP-compatible client to Better Email. Sign in with your normal Better Email login, choose the Organization to work in, and the client can create and edit Campaigns using the Design Systems and permissions available to your account.

Connected clients follow Better Email permissions when they find Campaigns, Design Systems, Folders, Integrations, Recipient Fields, and Segments. They can build Campaigns, upload supported assets, run pre-flight checks, and open interactive previews where the AI client supports them. Better Email records which connected client made each edit, and you can disconnect sessions in Settings.

Agillic sends can start in Better Email​

Agillic teams with send access, a configured Agillic Integration, and an eligible target group can now choose what happens after sync: sync only, send now, or schedule the send for later. The send step shows the selected target group before anything goes out, so teams can confirm the audience while they are still in the Better Email review flow.

A later sync will not overwrite the version already sent in Agillic. Scheduled sends remain adjustable while they are still in the future, so teams can make changes and confirm the updated send before the scheduled time.

Betty and the editor are easier to work with​

The Campaign Editor sidebar can now collapse to icons, giving the preview more space while you work. Use the icons or Cmd+. on Mac and Ctrl+. elsewhere to reopen the Modules, Block, Global, or Chat panel, and the editor remembers your preference the next time you open it.

Betty can now help turn HTML you provide into a draft Design System that admins can review before teams reuse it. Betty can also switch into editable Design Systems without you opening that editor first.

Improvements​

• Teams using a connected monday.com board can assign Betty to an item or mention her in a discussion, then get a Campaign summary, link, and status update back on the item.
• Long Betty instruction sets now scroll inside the edit dialog, so the save controls stay reachable.
• Betty can now upload SVGs she creates, and supported SVG image masks keep their quality after upload.
• When Betty reads a webpage that only returns a loading screen, she now tells you instead of using it as Campaign source material.

Fixes​

• Opening a Campaign link directly no longer leaves the workspace blank while the preview loads.
• Non-admin users in group-restricted Organizations can now see Integrations allowed by their group access, including when Betty needs one to create a Campaign.
• Pre-flight checks no longer flag inserted Recipient Fields as leftover template code, and badge placement is cleaner for findings tied to images and inline text.
• When Betty updates one part of a repeatable item, the other fields in that item stay unchanged, and Betty-created images remain editable or removable afterward.
• Betty now reports blocked source images instead of filling missing product image slots with pictures from unrelated companies.

This week makes Klaviyo exports more Campaign-specific, adds flexible image masks for Design Systems, gives Betty more room to work with attached files, and fixes issues with trials, product feeds, rich text editing, segmentation, and exports.

Klaviyo exports now fit each Campaign​

When exporting or re-exporting a Campaign to Klaviyo, you can now choose the exact Klaviyo list or segment for that Campaign. The picker labels lists and segments clearly and preselects the last audience used for that Campaign on the next export.

Klaviyo performance data can now be shown in Better Email for enabled Organizations. Once Klaviyo is connected with the required permissions and performance reporting is turned on, Better Email can show send, engagement, revenue, link, and timeline metrics for Klaviyo Campaigns without adding a second Klaviyo connection.

Images can use real transparent masks​

Design System image fields can now render rounded corners, circles, squircles, and custom cut-out shapes directly into the image. Because the shape is applied as real transparency, masked images hold up across light and dark backgrounds instead of relying on a guessed corner color.

Betty handles larger working sessions​

Betty can now inspect supported files attached to a conversation, including CSV, TSV, JSON, text, markdown, and HTML files. That gives teams a better path for data-heavy briefs, product lists, and long source files, so source data can stay in files instead of being pasted into prompts.

Image attachments in Betty now upload before the message is sent instead of being added directly to the message text. This increases the limit to 5 MB per image, keeps image thumbnails visible in the thread, and preserves the unsent message draft if an upload fails so the team can retry without losing the prompt.

Improvements​

• Trial Organizations now show remaining trial time in the top bar, and expired trials see a clear next-step screen instead of continuing into a workspace they can no longer use.
• "Fix with Betty" can now open Betty with the selected Campaign comment or review finding already added to the composer.
• Klaviyo re-exports now update the same template in Klaviyo when possible, reducing duplicates in your Klaviyo library.
• The product picker in Campaign block settings now loads feed items and shows an error if search fails, so teams can confirm the intended item before publishing or export.
• Image masks keep the same single image tag in exported Campaigns, so template authors can add shaped imagery without adding extra wrapper markup.

• Klaviyo segments using true/false recipient fields now show the correct content for each audience instead of reversing true and false rules.
• Adestra re-exports for segmented Campaigns no longer leave visible template code in the email body.
• Rich text fields in previews and Campaign editing no longer lose the caret or discard text while you type.
• New long Betty conversations no longer show internal summary text as a chat reply, and the composer now shows when a large attachment is still preparing.

This week helps teams keep coded Design System modules ready for marketers, lets Betty use approved Miro content during Campaign work, and fixes issues that could block previews, translations, checks, and older Campaigns.

Design Systems can now live in your repository​

Teams where developers maintain Design Systems in Git can now manage versions with the Better CLI, test changes in Better Email, and push a version for Candidate testing. Publishing to Live, the version marketers use for production Campaigns, still happens deliberately inside Better Email after review.

The new local preview loop lets developers edit files on their machine and preview the result in the same module and settings experience marketers use when building Campaigns. Maizzle and React Email teams can also generate Better Email Design System files from existing component projects, so they can keep their current workflow while making the finished modules editable for marketers.

Betty can work from approved Miro boards​

Betty can now connect to workspace-approved content sources, starting with Miro. After a source is connected in Settings, Betty can use approved Miro boards for campaign briefs, launch plans, messaging notes, and review context while helping build a Campaign.

When a Campaign is ready, Betty can add it back to a Miro board as a linked Campaign card with a preview image, so stakeholders can review the result alongside the brief. Admins control this separately: Betty can read from connected sources by default, while actions that change external sources stay off until an admin enables them.

Improvements​

• Browser sign-in for the Better CLI attributes pushed Design System versions to the person who made the change instead of a shared API key.
• New Design Systems include a valid Template Base with the required content area, so admins can save and preview immediately.
• Design System checks now warn when a color field has no preset options and would not be editable for marketers.
• VS Code users get Liquid suggestions across Template Base, global settings, shared settings, modules, repeatables, images, and links.

This week improves Betty for Campaign and Design System work, adds safer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys personalization exports, and reduces interruptions around review, export, and feedback steps.

Betty stays with your Campaign work​

Betty conversations now carry across the chat home, Campaign panel, floating window, and full-screen view, so teams can move between setup, review, and editing work without starting over. Recent chats are easier to reopen, and new requests can include files from the first message.

Betty now keeps clearer context for Campaigns, Design Systems, Integrations, Folders, and saved Library work. It can move with you during a conversation, show Campaign result cards with thumbnails and status labels, then offer next steps such as opening the Campaign or continuing the task in chat.

In Design System editing, Betty can now use the Module and editor state you are working in, not only a static description. That makes it better suited to setup tasks such as reviewing a Module, adjusting editable content areas, or explaining what it needs before it can help.

Safer Dynamics Journeys personalization exports​

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys exports now preserve recipient fields, subject-line personalization, preheaders, and conditional content in the format Journeys expects. Segmented Campaigns are less likely to fail content checks or show unfinished condition code and placeholder field names in the email body.

The Dynamics Journeys integration guide now covers recipient-field setup, segmentation previews, required footer tokens, validation errors, and what performance data is and is not available in one place.

Improvements​

• Better Email feedback prompts now wait until you leave the Campaign page after an export or test send, so the prompt does not interrupt the next review or download.
• Dismissing a Better Email feedback prompt now leaves a notification that can reopen it, so an accidental close no longer hides the survey for the rest of the cycle.

Fixes​

• Long-open browser tabs now reload once after a Better Email deploy if a page chunk is missing, instead of showing an error when you navigate to another Campaign page.
• Betty is less likely to lose a first message, leave the message box stuck, or show usage-limit messages as stream errors.
