Localized Campaigns and Export Controls
This week adds localized Campaign workflows, expands provider export support, and fixes issues that made campaign edits, reviews, and exports take longer than they should.
Localized Campaign versions
Teams can now create translated Campaign versions that stay connected to the original instead of managing disconnected copies. Add languages from the Translations page, move between versions with the language switcher, and review or export each language version like normal Campaign work.
Translation workflows also make it easier to see what changed. Better Email can draft language versions with AI, show which fields are translated, still untranslated, out of date, or already reviewed, and compare a language version against the original Campaign in Review so local teams can check copy without losing the design context.
Export setup and provider support
Teams using Adestra can now prepare Campaigns for export without rebuilding personalization by hand. Better Email can generate Adestra Template Toolkit conditions and merge tags, then provide copy-paste HTML or sync through Adestra credentials when the Integration is configured for API export.
Admins can also define analytics parameters once and apply them to Campaign links only during export or downloaded HTML exports. That replaces manual link tagging at publish time while keeping preview links unchanged during editing and review.
SendGrid teams can export to older transactional templates when older programs still need them, with Dynamic Templates still the default for new SendGrid work. New Campaigns also require an Integration from the start, so previews, checks, and exports use the right provider settings before production work begins.
Improvements
- Betty can use website content, screenshots, and saved working preferences as context in the Campaign Editor and Design System editor, making brand-site rebuilds and recurring edit requests easier to explain.
- Design System checks now flag input names that look like typos, duplicate HTML attributes, and conditional branches that produce the same output, helping template developers catch mistakes before marketers build from the design.
- Campaign editors with feed permissions can now open the Feeds page directly, making feed setup and troubleshooting easier without requiring broader admin access.
Fixes
- Opening a Campaign, Design System, or Segment link from another organization now shows users who already have access a way to switch into the right organization instead of ending at a dead not-found page.
- Betty's Campaign edits now run in order, respect content zones, and confirm saved changes before making the next edit, reducing misplaced modules during larger rebuilds.
- Adding, duplicating, or moving modules in Design Systems with multiple content zones now places them in the intended content zone.
- Repeatable items now stay visible after setting changes, so repeated content such as product rows or speaker lists no longer disappears while editing.
- Text checks no longer flag desktop and mobile versions of the same copy as duplicate recipient-facing text.
