Salesforce Marketing Cloud Improvements

We've shipped a series of improvements to our Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration, making it easier to manage your emails across Content Builder.

Folder and category support

When exporting emails to SFMC, you can now choose which Content Builder folder or category to place them in. No more manually reorganizing assets after every export — just pick the right destination and your email lands exactly where it belongs.

Auto-generate plain text

A new integration setting lets you automatically generate a plain-text version of your email from the HTML when exporting to SFMC. This saves you from having to maintain a separate plain-text version manually, while making sure every campaign has a proper text fallback.

You can now set default values on custom link tracking attributes in the rich text editor. If your organization uses the same tracking parameters across most links, this saves time and reduces errors.

Other fixes and improvements:

  • Fixed character encoding issues when exporting emails to SFMC
  • SFMC now creates a new asset when the original can no longer be found, instead of failing silently
  • Improved error handling and logging for SFMC asset operations
